How long have you been doing our classes?

Over a year now.

 

What made you decide to give 7 Mile Strength & Fitness a try?

My neighbor and close friend on the island is into CF and seeing her bouncing back quickly into shape after having her baby made me decide to try CF myself.

 

What was the hardest part when you started out and how did you overcome that?

I remember being nervous and doubtful about myself accomplishing anything sporty as I didn’t consider myself strong or a sporty person. Obviously time passed and practice makes perfect so I just keep showing up and it’s wonderful to see results.

 

Reflections on 2020 – something you learned about yourself and your family.

Wow with everything going on and this unprecedented year a simple lesson I was reminded of was just to be thankful for every day, every meal, every time spent with our loved ones. The only guarantee thing in life is today.

 

Any goals (either inside or outside the gym) for 2021?

Goals? Many! The first one that comes to mind inside the gym is getting rid of the belly!

 

You have been very consistent in class. What is something that keeps you motivated?

I love classes because is the time I take for myself. Also working out gets me in a good mood and I feel just happier in general and ready to play and run after my two little girls!
Seeing results keeps you wanting to come for more and the monthly challenges on my Apple Watch also motives me.

 

Gotta ask….where is the first place you will travel to once we can travel?

My hometown! Barranquilla in Colombia – I miss my family too much!

 

Anything people at 7 Mile Strength & Fitness don’t know about you?

I love dancing! I’m a great salsa dancer!

 

Anything crazy on your bucket list? (bungee jumping, sky diving, hiking?)

Vegas, baby!

 

What is your favorite WOD and why?

Can’t remember the names really so I would refer to movements. I’m starting to love pull ups and just because I have seen so much improvement since I started. I am so proud to see I can actually do it now.

 

What is your least favorite WOD and why?

Mmmm…well I don’t like power cleans! It’s a lot of steps to remember to get it right so I play safe and do it light.

 

Would you recommend 7 Mile Strength & Fitness to others and if so, why?

I would and I do already. Many friends can see my results and I feel excited about it too. Plus this is such a fun community to be part of.
